Josh Whittaker
President Mr. Whittaker has over 25 years’ experience in the Environmental Construction/Demolition industry serving public works, commercial, utility, power, oil and gas sectors. He is responsible for overseeing estimating, project management, technical quality, safety, client satisfaction, client follow-up, project budget, schedule, and overall success of all of Power One’s Industrial Services, Demolition and Decontamination projects. He has extensive experience supervising all aspects and understanding large-scale environmental construction. As well as various aspects of demolition and abatement allows him a unique perspective when developing pricing and project procedure. His in-depth experience allows him to optimize the project’s remediation construction approach to improve budget and schedule performance as well as to develop unique construction solutions. Operations Manager Mr. Adams has over 29 years’ experience in the construction industry, and over 15 years as a project manager. Mr. Adams determines needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. Planning all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met, while maintaining quality control, site safety and client satisfaction. Andrea Webb
Operations Specialist Ms. Webb has over 5 years’ experience in the construction field. She aids in areas of project assessment, financial management, outreach, marketing, web product development, contracts, change orders and payroll, obtain, and maintain certificates of insurance, preliminary liens, monitoring project plans, project schedules, budgets and expenditures, as well as fleet management. Ms. Webb maintains operational guides to ensure consistency of operations while providing insight into the overall efficiency of the organization. Francisco Alvarez
Project Coordinator/Estimator Mr. Alvarez graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He joined Power One in 2022 with over 4 years’ experience in construction estimating. Mr. Alvarez develops, updates, and finalizes project estimates while working closely with project team members to develop project budgets and schedule. |
Erick Castillo
Vice President Mr. Castillo graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Erick joined Power One in 2016. With 8+ years’ experience Erick is responsible for estimating, project management, client management/development, and the overall success of all Power One demolition and excavation projects. Edwin Sargenti
Program Manager Mr. Sargenti has over 20 years’ experience in environmental construction and demolition services. He negotiates and provides written records of project costs, credits, and change orders. Performs oversight of all stages of demolition from asbestos and lead survey collection and sample collection through disposal sampling, permits remediation of hazardous substances and materials, structural demolition, and off-haul of demolition materials. Implements job specific health and safety plans and writes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Mr. Sargenti is a licensed DOSH Certified Contractor and currently holds the following licenses A-General Engineering, B-General Building, C-21-Demoliton, C-22Asbestos Abatement, C-61- Oil Field Work, C-34-Pipeline, ASB-Asbestos, HAZ-Hazardous Substance Removal. Becki Gross
Controller Ms. Gross has 30+ years of work experience between 2 professions – The Mortgage Industry and Accounting. Clearly “numbers” are her thing! She joined Power One in February 2018 and has held various rolls including Payroll Manager, Union Liaison, HR Manager, etc. In June 2019 her roll expanded to include all those duties, as well as AR/AP. She enjoys learning more about all areas of the construction industry so that she may continue to tailor her expertise in accounting to be as efficient and effective as possible. James Sproule
Safety Manager James Sproule has over 20 years of Professional Managerial experience in Occupational Health and Safety; both Construction and General Industry. James is responsible for providing safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures with his In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards. James advises the company on safety issues, compliance in specific projects both in office and field operations, while analyzing incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment. |
