Safety is No Accident: The Power One Safety Program
At POWER ONE, our focus on excellence includes a strong commitment to achieving an incident and injury-free workplace. Safety training begins upon hire and continues daily at every job site. Every crew member is educated, empowered and motivated to ensure his own safety and the safety of his team. These efforts, combined with a top-down safety culture, have resulted in an exceptional EMR rate of 0.75.
Excellence in Accident Prevention
Power One has recognizable memberships with ISNetworld, Gold Shovel, BROWZ, SCCA and Veriforce to ensure we are a safe, qualified and socially responsible contractor.
Common Ground Alliance (CGA) Damage Information Reporting Tool (DIRT)
DIRT is a secure web site established to collect excavation damage and near-miss data. This information is not used for enforcement or claims/cost recovery purposes, but rather to understand where, how, when, and why damages occur. This information can then be used to identify trends and target resources to prevent future incidents. To accomplish this, it is critical that stakeholders provide accurate and complete information in DIRT. |
Since its establishment in 1974, Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) is a volunteered-led and governed by our members comprised of union-affiliated contractor businesses and affiliate construction industry service providers.
POWER ONE HAS 8 YEARS OF SCCA AWARDS FOR ZERO INCIDENTS FROM: 2014-2022 |
